WHAT HAPPENS AT A MEDICAL?
The medical will take around 20 minutes and the doctor will ask questions about your general health. Height, weight and blood pressure will be taken along with a urine sample as well as a basic examination of of your heart and lungs. Eye sight will be checked, including with glasses if you wear them for driving.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I FAIL THE MEDICAL?
If you fail the eye test part of the medical you can go and see an optician and it may be that you need glasses (or new glasses) for driving a group 2 vehicle. If you fail for another reason and it is possible to address this (e.g. slightly high blood pressure) we are happy to offer a retest free of charge once you have addressed the issue. Please remember that lots of drivers have a health concern such as high blood pressure or diabetes and in most cases it is still possible to pass the medical with the right treatment.
HOW CAN I PAY? |
We are able to accept either cash or card payments on the day.
